Folino Food - The Italian Food Family

Folino Food is a Calabrian company that aims to make Calabria known through authentic and different sensory experiences in Italy and around the world.
Born in the 60s by two brothers, Antonio and Guido, one day they decided to sell the products of the land they cultivated in the municipality of birth, Lamezia Terme. From a small local market over time it has become a real brand that exports the products of the homeland to European and non-European countries.
First specialized in only typical Calabrian products, Folino Food has expanded its borders and today includes four certified organic brands that deal with different aspects of taste: CasaFolino, Chocorotto, Dulcis Et Salis and Tisantea.
CasaFolino is a brand of typical Calabrian products both sweet and savory; most of the products are made in-house, while for others CasaFolino relies on manufacturers that respect the standards and values of the company: authenticity, traditionality and sustainability, allowing to have a variety of certified ORGANIC products.
Chocorotto instead encompasses the total production of Folino Food in the chocolate sector. The origin of the beans used by the brand is Côte d 'Ivoire, Ghana and Ecuador, from companies that support the Cocoa Horizons Foundation, allowing to have a variety of products with the authentic taste of cocoa beans, at the same time favoring cocoa farmers and their communities by promoting sustainable agriculture.
Dulcis Et Salis and Tisantea deal with the processing of spices the first and herbal teas the second. Also in this case, most of the raw materials are certified organic KM0, to create a mix of spices, smells and flavors with an unmistakable taste of spices processed by hand as they have just been harvested.
