The Calanchi - The New Life of a family tradition

The company, established in 2018 by the Nicita brothers, was born to gather the legacy of memory and wisdom in the management of the family vineyards in Bianco (RC). The crops are located within a Mediterranean ecosystem, characterized by the presence of olive trees, maritime pine trees and oaks to maintain the natural biodiversity and allow the vines to find the optimal environment for growth and development. The vines are grown with natural methods, without the use of herbicides, with organic manurings and manual processes from pruning to harvesting. Three wines characterize the company, "Sibille" IGP raising wine from the Mantonico vine with a millenary tradition, "Alisei" IGP white from Malvasia in purity with delicate aromas, "Due Terre" IGP red with a fine harmony and full-bodied for a number of bottles coming from authentic local artisans. All productions are generated exclusively from grapes grown on the family lands, with an accuracy in selection of the grapes and a careful processing in the cellar, while maintaining the right balance between tradition and innovation. The goal is to convey in the glass the love for the earth and the gift that nature gives us back.
