Produttori di Matelica (PROVIMA is the acronimous) is the oldest winemaker of Verdicchio in Matelica area, founded in the 1932. Now is one the most important producers of Marche Region. The origins date back in the histories of Matelica’s farming families who, generation after generation, have been putting dedication and passion to the cultivation of grapes. The current company was formed in the 1978 and nowadays it boasts 100 vine growers and operates a vineyard area of around 100 hectares. The focus of the production is on the Verdicchio grapes and denominations Verdicchio di Matelica DOC and DOCG. From 2017 we have been producing organic wines. The export is the 35% and it is booming during the past 2 years.
