The company was founded in 1949 by Lucarelli Alferino, a 20 year old boy who was driven by a great passion for its land rich in olive grows, a passion that over the years has been passed down from generation to generation in Lucarelli's family.
Today Lucarelli Alferino Srl is one of the leading companies in the olive sector in Italy as it is specialized in the production and distribution of high quality table olives and lupins. It processes more than 18 cultivars from all parts of Italy. Among these: GAETA (Itrana) olives and LUPINS can be considered a symbol of local excellence as they are directly produced in Rocca Massima, in Region Lazio, where the company is located.
In addition, the company processes many other cultivars among which stand out  Bella di
Cerignola olives, Castelvetrano (Sicilian) olives, Leccino olives and Taggiasca olives.
The company is BRC FOOD and FDA certified and it has also achieved D.O.P. (PDO) recognition as "GAETA OLIVE".
