Caffen was founded in Naples in 1955 by its founder's passion for coffee. Even today Caffen is an artisan company that has reached its third generation but still preserving the old teachings.
Our company produces blends of roasted coffee beans, ground coffee, pods and compatible capsules. We import green coffee through a careful selection of the best coffees in the world and we roast them according to the ancient Neapolitan tradition. Roasting is the most important moment to obtain an excellent blend. For this reason we use a semi-automatic roasting system with air cooling. In this way, the expert eye of a master roaster is able to monitor this delicate processing phase.
Caffen srl follows the HACCP standards and has got the ISO 9001/2015 certification. Furthermore, it periodically gets tested microbiological the roasted coffee through the laboratory of the Naples Chamber of Commerce.
For over 60 years we have been producing:
- Blends of coffee beans designed to meet the needs of the most demanding palates;
- Vacuum-packed ground coffee blends in bags and cans;
- Blends of coffee pods and capsules compatible with the brands on the market;
- Private label production of coffee beans, ground coffee, pods and capsules even for small batches;
- Training courses for baristas;
- Courses for qualification as a coffee taster;
- Customer service with the support of our staff both in Italy and abroad.

From 2006 to today, the quality of our blends has been awarded a gold medal in many international coffee competitions. The latest awards received were:
- Gold medal at International Coffee Tasting in October 2020 in Italy;
- Gold medal at International Tee Coffee Evaluation in October 2020 in Taiwan

In 2013 our 100% Arabica "MAXIMA" blend obtained product certification becoming a Certified Italian Espresso according to the Technical Specifications of the Italian Espresso Institute (http://www.inei.coffee/en/The-Certified-Italian-Espresso.html).
Our blends are distributed all over the world with a foreign sales share of 40%. We have distributors throughout Italy.
