Caffè Trombetta S.p.A. can count on over 100 years tradition in the coffee roasting industry.
Vittorio Trombetta began roasting and selling coffee in 1890. He chose to open his shop close to the train station in Rome in order to welcome travelers and give them the chance to enjoy an excellent coffee prepared according to the best Italian traditions.
Nowadays Caffè Trombetta S.p.A. is an important family-run industrial reality, a leading figure in coffee sales in Italy and in the major foreign markets throughout the world.
The continuous research for quality begins from the producing countries, through a careful selection of suppliers and a strict definition of quality standards. The composition of the blends is the result of know-how handed down from generation to generation.
Caffè Trombetta feels the vital importance of continually renewing itself and put always a great care on the technological innovation, national and international regulations to protect the environment and consumers.
To confirm this commitment, the company has carried on some fundamental steps.
It implemented the Quality System according to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard which involves the entire production chain with the aim of guaranteeing high quality standards.
To ensure food safety standards the company has obtained IFS certification.
The company also has a Code of Ethics to ensure transparency and fairness that characterize trade relations.
The range of the roasted coffee products includes ground coffee blends, vacuum packed, that are addressed to the food market and coffee beans created for HO.RE.CA and vending sectors.
Particular attention is paid to the production of filter paper pods and capsules.
The company is in fact one of the first roasters in Italy to have entered the single-serve segment,
acquiring important know-how over time.
In particular, the Nespresso* compatible capsule line “l’espresso” includes 5 flavors, one of these is a special blend of organic coffee.
Differing from most manufacturers, the company chose to package the capsules individually in a protective atmosphere to preserve the freshness and aromas of the coffee. Without considering the enveloping scent that invites the preparation of espresso when the bag is opened!
Caffè Trombetta has launched a line of compostable capsules certified by TUV AUSTRIA.
All Caffè Trombetta pods are certified compostable too and can be recycled with organic waste.
The line "l'espresso Dolce" capsules compatible with Nescafè* Dolce Gusto* domestic machines is available in 3 flavors with the unique and unrepeatable taste of the best Italian espresso.
