Trapanese Pesto with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, an ancient sicilian tradition: it is said that some "Genoese Merchants" arrived in the Trapani port had handed down to their sicilian colleagues, the ancient Ligurian tradition of Pesto. The Sicilians modified the Genoes recipe by adding other ingredients, such as Tomando and Almonds - Sicilian typical products.
