Sardina Fish and Wild Fennel sauce
Sardina Fish and Wild Fennel Pasta is a fabulous mix of colours, flavors and aromas, considered one of the first dishes to be given the name of dish sea and mountains (Mare e Monti), in which fennel is the master, which must be strictly wild, and fresh sardines.
Zicily suggests serving it, if you prefer, with a little toasted breadcrumbs in a pan which will enhance its flavor even more.
Ingredients: Fennel 30%, Sardine fillets (sardina pilchardus ) 30%, tomato purée 20%, onion, extra virgin olive oil, raisins, anchovy fillets (engraulis encrasicolus), pine nuts, sugar, salt, pepper.
