Organic Corn Oil 900ml

Joyl organic corn oil is obtained by mechanical pressing corn seeds from organic certified agriculture. Joyl corn seed oil is extracted from the dried seeds of Zea Mais L. Plant. It is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid, and it has a low saturated fatty acids content which makes it suitable for a balanced anti-cholesterol diet, in particular it helps maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels. This oil is a source of vitamin E and it is indicated for raw dressing.

It is not recommended for frying because it does not show great resistance to high temperatures. Corn oil has a high phytosterol content compared to several other cooking oils. Phytosterols are potentially anti-inflammatory, and eating a diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods may decrease your risk of certain conditions, such as heart disease and diabetes. Additionally, phytosterols are known to help block your body’s absorption of cholesterol. Thus, they may help decrease high cholesterol levels, which are a risk factor for heart disease.
