Benvolio 1938 Organic Sweet Almond Oil, from organic farming and 100% pure, is extracted from the seeds of the Prunus dulcis tree. Rich in Omega-6 and Vitamin E, it can be used for both cosmetic and food uses.

For Skin and Hair
The natural vitamin E content makes sweet almond oil an effective vegetable oil with antioxidant properties, which contributes to moisturised and supple skin on the face and body. It also plays an important role in skin photoprotection, preventing UV-induced free radical damage.
Rich in unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acid (60-85%) Omega 9 and linoleic acid (7-30%) Omega 6, it is recommended for the treatment of mature skin and acne. Used on the hair, sweet almond oil is an excellent vegetable oil for dry, brittle and damaged hair.

For a healthy diet
Benvolio 1938 Sweet Almond Oil, rich in oleic and linoleic acids, vitamins, particularly B and E, and minerals, is excellent for seasoning dishes to which it gives its characteristic aroma. It is also recognised for being an excellent aid in promoting physiological intestinal transit. Ideal for a healthy, balanced diet.

SWEET ALMOND OIL USES
Applied to the skin, Benvolio 1938 Organic Almond Oil, thanks to its particular acidic composition, integrates very well with the hydrolipidic film, conferring moisturising properties; for this reason it is ideal for dry skin. Applied directly in the shower, after rinsing off the bubble bath, apply a small amount to wet skin and massage it all over the body; rinse with a quick jet of water (preferably cool to reactivate the microcirculation as well) for a nourished, smooth and soft skin.
It can also be used for damaged hair, in the form of a compress to be left on for about twenty minutes before shampooing, or by adding two drops before styling to give hair softness and shine, without weighing it down.
Benvolio 1938 Sweet Almond Oil is also an excellent make-up remover: two drops on a cotton ball are enough to remove make-up.
For proper dietary use, it is recommended to take 1-2 teaspoons a day, pure or as a condiment (2 tablespoons equal 18.3 g of which 12.5 g monounsaturated fatty acids).
