It is extracted by mechanical pressing from a careful selection of the best pumpkin seeds from 100% organic farming from the best Italian, European and other plantations, depending on the seasonality of the harvest. Non-GMO and Kosher product.
Unlike conventional oil, it is obtained by mechanical extraction without the use of solvents, with subsequent filtration (and purification is by steam current, unlike conventional oils).

PUMPKIN SEED OIL PROPERTIES
Pumpkin seeds are particularly rich in betasterols (substances structurally similar to androgens and oestrogens) which help reduce blood cholesterol levels.
They are very rich in water and low in sugar, in fact used as a component to be introduced in diets because it is highly digestible and because it stimulates diuresis.
They also contain carotene, a substance that helps the body produce Vitamin A, with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

PUMPKIN SEED OIL USES IN COOKING
Benvolio 1938 organic pumpkin seed oil has a very intense flavour due to the strong hint of hazelnut inside. It is ideal for flavouring soups, salads, on which it imparts a strong flavour, meat but also for making bruschetta unique.
It is generally not used in cooking, as it tends to lose its nutritional and organoleptic characteristics at high temperatures.
