RADICIIRPINE DI CANONICO&SANTOLI SRLS

Rocca San Felice is a tiny town of 800 people, at 750 mts above sea level, surrounded by the archeological site Valle d’Ansanto, also known as “Mefite”. Their dream started here, from this volcanic place, full of history. The winery’s logo pictures a coin from the Samnites, with the face of a local Goddess (dated IV century b.C.). Even the wines’ names are inspired by local myths: Iside, the Goddess of fertility, of the light, recalling the brightness of Fiano di Avellino, with its shining golden yellow, even after some years of aging. Mefite, Samnites Goddess, responsible of the sulphurous air, typical of the area around the lake of Rocca San Felice, recalling the minerality of Greco di Tufo. And then, Horus, son of Isides, God of Power, as strong as Taurasi, with its body and tannins, mellowed by the long aging in oak.
