Scapigliati is a company, a well-known producer of Cantuccini in Tuscany, founded in 1926 in Florence by Dante Scapigliati.
Currently, the factory is led by the fourth generation.
The aim that guides the work of Scapigliati every day is the pursuit of the best ingredients and the constant improvement of recipes.
Besides Italy, you can find Scapigliati Biscotti in carefully selected distributors and retailers worldwide.

The company is specialized in the production of traditional Tuscan biscuits.
The PGI almond Cantuccini is the product of excellence of Scapigliati. In addition to these, the company is the last to produce Quaresimali (biscuits typical of the period of Christian Lent in Tuscany) and Ricciarelli, made of almond paste without the addition of preservatives. The company also produces a line of organic and vegan biscuits.

From Tuscany, Biscottificio Scapigliati exports -in addition to its delicious biscuits- an original concept of craftsmanship that embraces both places and people. Each biscuit passes on ancient and profound values of respect for work, social responsibility, and sustainability.
For nine years in a row (2003-2012) Biscottificio Scapigliati owned the international standard SA8000 Social Responsibility certification which declares that workers’ rights are respected throughout the supply chain.
Moreover, Biscottificio Scapigliati received the Ethic Award issued by the specialized magazine GDOWeek in 2004 and the first national award for Corporate Social Responsibility, city of Rovigo, for micro-enterprises category in 2005.
For Biscottificio Scapigliati social responsibility means paying particular attention to the people who work at the company. In fact, according to the owners – there is no profit without respecting people’s rights.

Biscottificio Scapigliati managed to balance the craftsmanship working on baking trays as a small pastry shop, but using the best machinery and technologies in order to obtain a competitive production capacity: about 1400 kg/day of Cantuccini.
In this way, excellent accuracy in processing is respected and at the same time, quantity for the most demanding customers is guaranteed.
The careful selection of raw materials and the fine craftsmanship are safeguarded by flawless packaging, thanks to which Scapigliati creates crumbly, tasty biscuits with a long shelf life.
