Le Ferre is an Italian family business company, considered one of the leaders in Italy in the production of premium EVOO. The Company is based in Apulia, the first Region in Italy for the production of Evo Oil. For more than 20 years we are focused on the olive oil industry, producing the best quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil and delighting customers in Italy and across the Globe. Le Ferre is the name of a district in the countryside of Castellaneta where we take the best care of few old secular olive trees, living testimony of our land, tradition, and values. We are at the center of a strategic triangle nestled between Bari, Taranto, and Matera.
In our product range, we have 10 Monovarieties; 3 Blends (some of these have been selected for years by Gambero Rosso among the best Oils in Italy) ; Organic Line (Evo Oil and Organic Flavored Oils); I.G.P. Apulian Oil; Ceramic Line all hand mande and 33 Flavored Oils ( one of our strong points, as we have worked over the years on developing a variety of flavors, and creating the right balance between the aroma oil and flavor ).
We always work with the highest standards, to secure the best product quality and to respect the product and the customer; which led our company to obtain the IFS and BRC quality certification with double-A. We harvest our olives with mechanical facilitators and crush them within 12 hours. We use the most advanced technology machinery with continuous cycle systems in "2 phases". We store our olive oil in high-quality steel silos, in temperature-controlled storage rooms. We submit our oils to periodic chemical and organoleptic analysis. We bottle our products ensuring every care for the product.
